About the Peace of Mind Plan

Freedom Boat Club of Wilmington’s Peace of Mind Plan is a valuable addition to your membership that provides extra protection and confidence while you are out on the water.

Whether you are a seasoned boater or brand new to the waters, accidents can happen to anyone. Strong currents, unexpected winds, unanticipated tidal changes, bridges that look taller than they are, and so many other sneaky hazards can impact anyone.

One of the most valuable aspects of the Peace of Mind Plan is the included Sea Tow membership. This membership is equivalent to Sea Tow’s Gold Level plan, and provides you with towing anywhere Sea Tow operates, even on reciprocal reservations.

Additionally, we have found that members with the Peace of Mind Plan are more likely to report any issue with the vessel or a situation that may not have gone exactly as planned because they know they aren't "in trouble". That means we can take better care of the fleet, reduce vessel down time, and focus on making your experience great.

The Peace of Mind Plan is $675 per year for Lite, Weekday, and Freedom Boating Plan members, and $975 per year for Buddy and Friends & Family plan members.
